My favorite thing to collect is conversations. Either from those I am participating in or those on which I am eavesdropping. This is significantly due to the streets and buses and subways of Philadelphia.
My collection is mainly culled from daily bus rides and from MFA experiences, more specifically from MFA critiques, but also from wine-drinking talk, friend-talk, dinner-talk, radio, television, facebook, webpages, texts, movies, music. I curate my collection onto the pages of old magazines and create what my friend Lisa calls a mind map.
